Hypnosis Techniques

Getting control of your life is more important than holding gain in another person's. Therefore, learning the art of self-hypnosis is a tool that is not only useful, but satisfying. Simple and effective, these following self-hypnosis techniques can help you get a better hold on life so you can guide yourself towards your goals and dreams.

You are not getting sleepy

Self-hypnosis is very similar to meditation but is more active. Start by allowing yourself to relax. Relaxing is not the same thing as sleeping, as you are still conscious but more flexible. Close your eyes and breathe deeply and slowly. Imagine that you are getting washed by a shower of relaxation, more and more with each breath. Eventually, you end up with a clearer mind.

Talking to yourself

Self-hypnosis is used to relieve stress or build up confidence. After you have fallen into a relaxed state, remain in this state and repeat assuring statements such as "you are fine and you are safe." These statements allow you to ease away from stressful feelings. To build confidence, instead chant statements such as "you can do it and always have" or "you are beautiful."

Hypnosis does not have to carry negative connotations. Self-hypnosis is a very simple technique used to convince your inner most self of what is deeply true. Self-motivation is the best type of motivation and with this technique behind you, you can do anything and feel more at ease in the process.
